P5 Suara Demokrasi

Membangun Suara Demokrasi di Lingkungan Sekolah


    Kegiatan P5 Suara Demokrasi berlangsung selama dua pekan mulai dari 30 Oktober - 10 November 2023 untuk Kelas VII. Tahapan dari kegiatan P5 ini yaitu Pengenalan, Kontekstualisasi, Aksi, dan Refleksi. Untuk pekan pertama difokuskan kepada pengenalan dan kontekstualisasi. Peserta didik mengenal mengenai demokrasi yang ada di indonesia yang dimana juga mereka mendapatkan informasi tersebut langsung dari Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Bandung sebagai narasumbernya. Peserta didik kelas VII ini diberi pengenalan mereka bagaiman demokrasi yang ada di Indonesia dan juga gambaran bahwa untuk lingkup sekolah itu tidak jauh berbeda dengan Pemilihan Ketu Kelas, Ketua OSIS dan Wakil Ketua OSIS.

    P5 menjadi tempat bagi peserta didik untuk belajar tentang demokrasi melalui praktik langsung. Mereka diajarkan untuk mendengarkan pendapat orang lain, menghormati perbedaan, dan mencari solusi yang dapat diterima secara bersama-sama. Salah satu kegiatan utama dalam kelas P5 adalah menyelenggarakan pemilihan ketua dan Wakil Ketua OSIS. Proses ini mirip dengan pemilihan umum di masyarakat, dengan peserta didik memiliki kesempatan untuk mencalonkan diri, mengkampanyekan ide-ide mereka, dan memilih pemimpin mereka sendiri.

    Dengan demikian, P5 Suara Demokrasi ini membantu membangun budaya demokratis di sekolah. Mereka memberikan ruang bagi peserta didik untuk merasa didengar dan memiliki pengaruh dalam keputusan-keputusan yang memengaruhi mereka. Melalui pengalaman ini, peserta didik belajar untuk menghargai nilai-nilai demokrasi, mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan menjadi warga yang lebih bertanggung jawab dalam masyarakat.
