Program Penguatan Profil Pancasila (P5) di SMP Edu Global Bandung: Bangunlah Jiwa dan Raganya



 

    Bulan September 2023 lalu, SMP Edu Global Bandung menyelenggarakan serangkaian kegiatan dalam Program Penguatan Profil Pancasila (P5), dengan fokus pada tema "Bangunlah Jiwa dan Raganya." Tema ini, salah satu dari tujuh tema yang diuraikan dalam Naskah Profil Pelajar Pancasila, berkisar pada konsep "Kenali Diri dan Kenali Lain." Tahun-tahun sekolah menengah adalah masa penting untuk pengembangan karakter, terutama bagi siswa Fase D, yang mengalami pertumbuhan fisik dan psikologis yang bervariasi. Mengenali diri sendiri dan orang lain adalah keterampilan dasar yang harus dimiliki siswa untuk bersosialisasi secara efektif dan menghindari konflik.

       Proyek ini bertujuan untuk membudayakan kesadaran siswa terhadap diri mereka sendiri dan orang lain, sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan meningkatkan ketahanan diri yang kuat melalui pendekatan yang seimbang terhadap perkembangan emosional, intelektual, fisik, dan kreatif seperti yang dianjurkan oleh Ki Hadjar Dewantara.

    Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung selama dua minggu, dengan minggu pertama dihabiskan untuk menerima materi dan merumuskan konsep untuk pertunjukan drama musikal. Naskah drama musikal dibuat dengan tema terkait masalah perundungan di sekolah dan dampaknya pada kehidupan siswa. Siswa menggambarkan contoh perundungan dan mengeksplorasi strategi untuk mengatasi dan menghadapi perilaku tersebut.

    Pada minggu kedua, siswa fokus pada latihan, menyempurnakan penampilan mereka untuk memastikan pesan yang dimaksudkan disampaikan dengan efektif. Pada hari terakhir, siswa memamerkan bakat mereka di depan teman sekelas dan guru.

        Para siswa memberikan penampilan yang luar biasa, dengan alur cerita yang terstruktur dengan baik, musik latar yang memikat, dan keterampilan akting yang mengesankan. 

        Pada akhir proyek, peserta diharapkan telah memperoleh kesadaran diri, keterampilan pengaturan diri, dan pemahaman yang lebih besar tentang kesejahteraan mental dan fisik mereka. Mereka juga didorong untuk mengenali dan menghargai perbedaan di antara teman sekelas mereka serta belajar cara-cara konstruktif untuk menghadapi keragaman, sehingga mencegah perilaku perundungan.

        Melalui program P5, SMP Edu Global Bandung bertujuan untuk membentuk siswa yang tidak hanya cakap secara akademis, tetapi juga cerdas secara sosial dan emosional, dilengkapi dengan nilai dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk masyarakat yang harmonis dan inklusif.
