Pelatihan Menteri Kabinet Merah Putih Magelang Versi Siswa SMP Edu Global

            Pada Jumat-Sabtu, 25-26 Oktober 2024, seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Edu Global Bandung telah melaksanakan kegiatan Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Siswa atau yang sering dikenal dengan LDKS. Tidak mau kalah dari para menteri Kabinet Merah Putih, para siswa SMP Edu Global pun mengikuti kegiatan LDKS dengan mengusung tema “Building The Creative Leadership Character Of Youth”. Sesuai dengan tema tersebut, kegiatan LDKS ini diharapkan dapat membangun karakter kepemimpinan siswa yang kreatif. Adapun tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan LDKS untuk membentuk kepribadian siswa yang berani, tangguh, dan disiplin serta memperkenalkan sifat kepemimpinan bagi siswa.

LDKS SMP Edu Global Bandung tahun 2024 dilaksanakan selama dua hari satu malam bertempat di SMP Edu Global Bandung, Jalan Kalimantan No. 7. Kegiatan LDKS dibuka langsung oleh perwakilan dari Yayasan Kreasi Edulab Indonesia Ibu Ir. Tin Sukartini. Pada pelaksanaannya kegiatan LDKS diisi oleh pemateri yang luar biasa. Terdapat empat pematerian utama dalam kegiatan ini. Materi pertama diisi langsung oleh perwakilan dari pihak TNI yakni Peltu Sunanto dari Bati Komsos Koramil 1812/BW-SB. Pematerian pertama dari perwakilan pihak TNI berisi materi mengenai PBB dan latihan gerakan dasar kedisiplinan. Selanjutnya materi mengenai “Anak sebagai Pemimpin Masa Depan” diisi oleh perwakilan student parents yakni Dad Mohamad Hamzah N dan Mom Fathia Pratiwi. Materi ketiga mengenai “Bela Negara” diisi oleh Adam Siswanto sebagai Komandan Resimen Mahasiswa UPI Periode 2023-2024. Terakhir terdapat pematerian mengenai “Manners and behavior as a creative young generation” yang diisi oleh Ghina Nuur Ihsaani sebagai Mojang Kabupaten Subang 2024.

Selama kegiatan LDKS para siswa diberikan pelatihan PBB langsung oleh pihak TNI, terdapat juga latihan-latihan kepemimpinan, kerja sama, dan penyelesaian masalah. Selain latihan kepemimpinan, kegiatan LDKS juga membentuk kerja sama dan kekompakan antar siswa, serta penguatan keagamaan melalui kegiatan malam keakraban, shalat tahajud dan muhasabah, memasak sarapan bersama, serta kegiatan outbounding. Kegiatan LDKS ditutup dengan apel pada Sabtu, 26 Oktober 2024 oleh bapak Sandi Rudiansah, S.Pd.,M.B.A selaku Kepala Sekolah SMP Edu Global.
